  • Evaluate outcomes. Always evaluate the outcome of the decisionand discuss with the people involved what went right/ wrong and what could’ve been done better.
  • Fix a definite timeline

Depending on the priority/ importance/ urgency of the decision, set a fixed and un- extendable deadline for making the decision. This could range from a couple of months, weeks, days or even hours.

It must be made clear to everyone involved in the decision that the time limit is mandatory and that all effort and focus must be put into reaching a decision before the deadline.
